A Word from our CEO

On June 15^th, 2022, BSOG delivered the first molecule of gas from the Black Sea in over 30 years. BSOG’s MGD Project created a legacy for the country in terms of providing vital infrastructure, further energy developments (natural gas and green energy) and providing a road map for the next Black Sea developments. Of a particular importance is that the MGD project was built in Romania, by Romanians, for Romanians.

Since then we delivered 3 bcm of gas, continued to retain our achievement of no LTIs and kept a proven track record of full compliance on our operating sites.

Our journey continues with further investment efforts. Offshore in the Black Sea, BSOG is pursuing additional gas prospects and 3^rd party tie backs to our Ana Platform and, for offshore wind, BSOG is positioning itself to be the developer of choice for the country. BSOG’s newly established subsidiary, BSOG Energy, is fully dedicated to green energy development in Romania with an initial focus on being the first biomethane developer in the country.

Whether its natural gas or green energy, BSOG is working to provide vital energy security for the country.
