We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation/Telecommunication Technician with an excellent project management, commissioning & start-up and technical understanding to provide support initially to our Project Midia Gas Development (MGD) and continue during Operational phase.

Role scope

Prepares and executes the maintenance program established in the maintenance plan or according to the instructions received
Prepares the database for the existing communication and telecommunication systems within Offshore and Onshore
Prepares the database for the measurement, control and instrumentation systems within Offshore and Onshore
Prepares the List of measuring instruments subject to legal metrological control in accordance with the legislation in force
Install, maintain, repair and calibrate measuring and control instruments according to operating/maintenance standards or procedures
Executes the maintenance program established in the maintenance plan or according to the instructions received
Installs, maintains, repairs and calibrates measuring and control instruments according to operating/maintenance standards or procedures
Review diagrams and operating/maintenance instructions
Investigates the problems encountered in the instrumentation and proposes remedial solutions and implements the approved solutions
Works with equipment for testing and measuring the parameters of electrical installations and records the measurement parameters to ensure traceability

Activities:

Prepares the List of measuring instruments subject to legal metrological control in accordance with the legislation in force
Install, maintain, repair and calibrate measuring and control instruments according to operating/maintenance standards or procedures
Executes the maintenance program established in the maintenance plan or according to the instructions received
Installs, maintains, repairs and calibrates measuring and control instruments according to operating/maintenance standards or procedures
Review diagrams and operating/maintenance instructions
Investigates the problems encountered in the instrumentation and proposes remedial solutions and implements the approved solutions
Works with equipment for testing and measuring the parameters of electrical installations and records the measurement parameters to ensure traceability

Records/reports the documentation regarding the services and repairs performed, hard copy or by CMMS
Makes sure that the inventory of spare parts is sufficient and the purchase order is issued in order to maintain the agreed limit stock.
Checks daily/weekly/monthly measuring/control equipment/instruments according to the instructions received
Identifies HSE, electrical, mechanical risk factors and reports when there are incident/accident risks due to malfunction or outside operating limits
Updating ANRE qualification certificates (low voltages) (grade I)
Manages the equipment and keeps it in working order
Prepares planning stops and follows instructions for unplanned stops
Checks the integrity of the measurement and control systems to maintain the established level of security and proposes changes in accordance with the change management procedure in case of any non-compliance
Maintains records for any changes to measuring and control equipment and instruments
Makes sure that the works can be performed in safe conditions according to the work control system
Participates in training programs and maintains required certifications

Experience & Qualifications

Completed university studies in the fields of electricity/energy or automation
Minimum 5 years experience in telecommunications AMC/automation for the oil and gas industry or in the electric energy system
ANRE certificate
Valid BOSIET certification
INSEMEX certification
Knowledge of maintenance, installation and operation of measuring/transmission/recording and control instruments
Ability to work with telecommunication systems such as PAGA, Telephone System, Data Networks, Radio Link, UHF Radio, CCTV, Telecom Power Supply, SCADA, satellite telecommunications and data conversion
Hardware / software knowledge of telecommunications equipment
Knowledge of working with Honeywell equipment
SOLAR compressor knowledge -is a plus
Knowledge of English
Intermediate PC operating knowledge: Word, Excel
Experience on offshore transfer from ship to platform

Terms and conditions:

Location: Vadu/Constanta and short-term Offshore assignments – Romania
Temporary role: 1 year
