Mark has held senior executive positions including Director General of Midia Resources SRL, President and Founder of Carthage Energy and its subsidiary Carthage Hydro, Vice-President of Petrokazakhstan, COO of Western Facilities, and President and Founder of Croft Offshore Oil Ltd.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario and a Master of Business Administration degree from the London Business School in the UK.

Ludovic has over 20 years’ experience in O&G Field Development Projects and Operations.

He gained a strong technical background working on different Oil & Gas fields going from conceptual study phase to decommissioning phase.

He held several positions in Perenco (Gabon, Tunisia) and TotalEnergies (Yemen, Russia, Argentina) at Project and Operational management level.

Ludovic is graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris (ECP) in France.

Oana is a lawyer with over 18 years of experience in energy & natural resources in Romania.

She gathered significant experience in project development and was involved in the planning and execution of some of the most challenging aspects of the project.

Oana has been with the company since 2012 and for the past 12 years led the legal, regulatory and advocacy efforts of BSOG.

Oana is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of Nicolae Titulescu University in Bucharest.

Daniela has over 16 years of experience in Finance and 13 years in oil & gas.

Daniela joined BSOG in 2016 as Chief Accountant, progressing to Finance Manager in 2020 and then to Finance Director in 2023, while gathering experience in financial management, financial modeling, tax, project and corporate financing.

Previously, Daniela’s career started with Fidexpert SRL, an accounting and consultancy company, where Daniela was in charge of accounting, tax and financial reporting and was involved in Carlyle International Energy Partners’ takeover of Midia Resources in 2015.

Daniela graduated from Bucharest University of Economic Studies, with a Master’s Degree in Accounting, Audit and Management Information Systems and is a Chartered Accountant.

Bogdan has over 20 years’ experience in oil & gas industry, on both onshore and offshore projects, with skills covering operations, design, engineering, fabrication and management.

Bogdan joined Black Sea Oil & Gas in April 2016 as Project Engineer and 4 months later was assigned as Wellhead Platform Package Manager, responsible for the MGD Project Ana Wellhead Platform.

Bogdan took over the Operations Manager position when MGD Projects started its production in June 2022.

He began his career as Mechanical Engineer, working with various national and international companies. In September 2012 he joined OMV Petrom, lead oil & gas company in Romania, were he started as Project Engineer, later moving to Project Manager position, managing various offshore brownfield projects with successful delivery of Lebada NAG Project, one of the most important projects for OMV Petrom offshore asset.

Bogdan is graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Oil & Gas University in Ploiesti, Romania.

Daniela has over 25 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry and has been involved in various field evaluation, development and exploration projects, and well operations. She was also engaged in teaching and research since graduation.

Daniela joined Black Sea Oil & Gas in March 2017 as Senior Geoscientist and in July 2020 was assigned as Senior Operations Geoscientist. Starting July 2022, Daniela acts as Subsurface Manager leading the subsurface activities on all development and exploration matters. Before joining Black Sea Oil & Gas, she worked for PanTerra Geoconsulting B.V., The Netherlands, as a Senior Geoscientist. Other past roles include positions in exploration and production with Shell around the world (Canada, Europe, Africa, Asia).

She has two PhD degrees from University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and from University of Bucharest, Faculty of Geology and Geophysics, Bucharest, Romania. Daniela teaches new geoscientists at University of Bucharest, Faculty of Geology and Geophysics.

Daniela joined Black Sea Oil & Gas in 2018.

She has over 25 years’ experience as a Human Resources Manager in a wide range of diverse industries including industrial and manufacturing environments as well as in marketing and sales driven Fast Moving Consumer Goods. She started her career in Personnel with Tofan Group, the largest independent tyre producer and distributor in Romania and was promoted to Human Resources Manager before moving to Assay Abloy Romania, a global leader in door solutions, as HR Manager. Daniela then took on the role of Human Resources Manager for Manufacturing and Logistics in Star Foods and finally, over an 11-year period, as HR Business Partner for PepsiCo Romania.

Daniela graduated with a BA in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic University of Bucharest.

Ana-Maria has been with the company since 2009 and is in charge of BSOG’s internal and external communication and social responsibility activities since 2016.

Ana-Maria has 16 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry being involved in all the stages of an oil & gas project lifecycle, from exploration to operations.

Between 2020-2022 she project managed the MGD documentary film that follows the construction of the entire MGD project, from the early stages of construction up to the first gas, and since 2023, Ana-Maria project manages construction projects in BSOG.

Ana-Maria is a graduate in Political Sciences from the University of Bucharest and holds a Master’s degree in Business Communication from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest.

Ana-Maria is certified in Public Relations from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in the UK.

Cristian joined Black Sea Oil & Gas in May 2016 as HSE Manager. In this capacity, Cristian is responsible for coordinating the company’s health, safety, security and environmental functions.

Cristian has more than 25 years of HSE experience in the offshore oil & gas sector. He started his career with Petromar Constanta and reached the position of Production Platforms Maintenance Chief Engineer. Up to 2005, he held various HSE positions with OMV Petrom before moving to OMV Tunisia in 2011 as Senior HSE Manager for Non-Operated Joint Ventures (Serept and TPS). In 2013 he rejoined OMV Petrom to manage the HSE & Risk activities for Neptun Block Deepwater Development, from where he moved to Diamond Offshore Drilling International Romanian Team, the drilling contractor of ExxonMobil for Neptun Deepwater Drilling in early 2014.

Cristian is graduated from Iasi Gh. Asachi Polytechnical University, in Mechanical Engineering and holds a Master’s Degree in OH&S Risk Assessment and Management and a NEBOSH IGC and OGC Certification.

Cristian is currently member of EU-OSHA Management Board and EU-Advisory Committee for Safety and Health.

Claudiu has 17 years of experience majority of which in oil & gas industry, on both upstream and downstream business areas, with skills covering long term gas contracts management, business development and trading & acquisition of natural gas.

Claudiu joined Black Sea Oil & Gas in June 2021 as Gas Marketing Manager being responsible for gas sales activities and commercial ventures initiatives. Before joining Black Sea Oil & Gas, he had various positions from Key Account Manager to Head of Gas Department in international and local companies such as Linde Gaz, Axpo Energy and Electrica Furnizare.

Claudiu graduated from Polytechnic University of Bucharest, with a degree in Economical Engineering.

George has 20 years of experience most of which are in oil & gas industry (both onshore and offshore) but also commercial and industrial developments being skilled on Contracts & Procurement Management as well as on Project Services & Project Controls.

George joined Black Sea Oil & Gas in October 2015 initially as Contract Manager and thereafter in July 2017 was appointed as Contracts & Procurement Manager covering both the exploration and development side of business. Before joining Black Sea Oil & Gas, he worked for Aramco in Saudi Arabia as Contract Advisor within Capital Program Management Division of Gas Operations. Other past roles include positions with OMV Petrom as well as companies in Qatar.

George is graduated in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest and has a Master’s Degree in Management in Construction from the same university.

Marian joined Black Sea Oil & Gas in October 2016 as Data Manager. In 2018 he was appointed IT & Data Manager, coordinating IT and Data Management activities within Black Sea Oil & Gas and starting with 2024, BSOG Energy’s.

Marian has 24 years’ experience in Oil & Gas field Development Projects and Operations. He began his career in PetroSoft, the IT&C Subsidiary of SNP Petrom in 2000 as Programmer and after 4 years acted as IT Project Manager for Upstream and Downstream divisions of OMV Petrom.

Leaving IT&C Division of OMV Petrom in 2008, Marian joined Upstream Division of OMV Petrom as Project Manager for several GIS Projects and Data Management Projects and then lead Documents & Data for Projects Department in Upstream Division.

Marian is graduated in Automation and Industrial Informatics from Oil & Gas University Ploiesti in Romania.

Mihai joined Black Sea Oil & Gas SA in April 2018 as QA &QC Manager, having over 25 years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas sector.

His experience was gained while involved in various projects and organizations: Plants Inspection (Petrotel-Lukoil); Phu-My Fertilizer Plant (PetroVietnam), Dolphin Gas Project Qatar (JGC Corporation of Japan), LNG Project Qatar (Qatargas), C3⁺Recovery Midia (OMV Petrom), FRDP Suplac_Field Re-Development Projects (OMV Petrom), Danube Undercrossing (Bulgartransgaz EAD) and Pipelines BRUA/Transgaz (HABAU PPS).

Mihai is graduated in Mechanical Engineering – Chemical and Petrochemical Equipment Refinery from the Oil & Gas University Ploiesti, Romania. He holds post graduate studies in Chemical and Petrochemical Equipment Reliability at the same university.

Anton joined Black Sea Oil & Gas SA in 2023 as Project Manager for Green Energy solutions. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing all aspects and phases of Green Energy Projects including solar, wind, hydrogen, CCS as well as CO2 abatement projects and programs.

He entered the renewables energy sector in 2011, being focused on energy efficiency solutions: design of Photovoltaic Power Plants, BESS, Wind Power Plants, energy audits, developing sustainable energy solutions for industrial and utility scale applications.

Before joining Black Sea Oil & Gas, Anton has worked for E.ON as a Renewable Solutions Energy Specialist, Project Manager and Product Manager for B2B Solutions (E.ON EIS).

Anton holds a degree in Installations Engineering from the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest and has an Energy Master of Business Administration from the Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Language (FABIZ).
